Post Dyno Results

Its been a long time in progress, but we finally have some dyno results of the AMW Red turbo race car. The entire build process of this car is being built on our website under "projects", as is the build of the AMW Yellow race car.

We are running the "Unichip Program" for fuel and timing. It took a total of three hard days on the dyno to get it tuned. We have video of the tuning that will be added to the project page as well. Long hard, sustained pulls at full throttle..it pretty much ran an 8 hour enduro race on the dyno..Punished pretty bad, but not one oil leak, no problems other than a miss from a bad spark plug on the four cylinder.

Here are the sheets.

Luke, I'll get full specs for you on the turbo and send you an email.

As far as boost, yes, possibly a little increase over time. But for now, we will leave it at a reliable safe level...its going on summer here, it will be pretty hot at the tracks...13.7 PSI sounds good to me :-)

Thanks Luke!

Here is a link to the page on our website that shows a few pictures of the car in progress. Text is on the way, but for now, there are just pictures. We will also be adding video of the dyno tuning..the car sounds wicked...you can hear the turbo through the exhuast and intake...it sounds like a 747.
