Tranny shifter bushing......HELP
Ok, i am 100% sure the solution to my sloppy shifting is the busying coming from the transmission to the shifter......it is unfortunatly not the ball/cup at the base of the shifter. Anyway, does anyone know the part number for the tranny bushing? or a rough price guess? or if it is a do it yourself job??? thanks!

Before you order anything, check these first:
- The shift lever coupling to the shift rod - held together by a circlip. This is the second most common area of wear.
- the connecting rod above the transaxle that holds the shift input mechanism relative to the transaxle.
- the bolt beneath the boot that holds the shift rod to the actuating assembly on the transaxle. Should be wire-tied in.
After that, then suspect the transaxle mount - it's tougher than all of those combined <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Not hard to replace - just support the transaxle and remove the mount (very cramped up there - taking off the muffler might help)
Good Luck!
