I attempted to install my Racing Dynamics strut tower bar a few nights ago, but found that it now has clearance issues. I have the Lindsey Racing intake manifold and it the brace won't clear it, the end plate sits nearly 1/2 inch above the strut tower. I have borrowed a KLA 968 strut bar, and it seems to fit. I would like to know what others have used for a strut brace bar in conjunction with the LR manifold.

 

I have the same combination. On my car the two appear to work together with about 3 mm clearance. However, the intake manifold is showing some wear where the strut brace is rubbing against it.

 

The RD strut bar is a very close fit. I have a stock manifold, but the hood ever so slightly rubs the bar.
