Anyone use undercoating for gravel guard?

Real quick, is this applied just on the rockers or does it extend to the fender and rear quarter panel? Spraying tomorrow. Thanks!!

It extends from wheelwell to wheelwell. Practice on a small piece of cardboard, until you get the technique that gives the desired texture, then let it fly. Follow the recoat time on the can. Listen to Dan.

Hold on here folks.

BEFORE you try this on your car, take the time, and spray a scrap piece of metal and get the technique to get the look your after. Practice makes perfect. Don't practice on the car.

For anyone else who thinks that all undercoats are the same, be warned here and now. They may look the same when dry, but that doesn't mean that your paint will stick to it the same. I experimented with a autoparts store "housebrand" of rocker guard, and it made the paint fisheye like crazy. It must have had silicones in it. Major fail.
