Battery Orientation for late (85.5) 944? Positive to firewall, or positive towards front bumper?

Positive to firewall.
It creates a hazard when jumping, since the windshield frame can ground. That's why it isn't recommended to jump a 944, whether the problem is with the 944 or someone else.

Yup. I'm all squared away. Good to know about jumping/assisting...
