Default FS - Short Shift Kit - NIB

I ordered one of these a few weeks ago for the project car and somehow they sent me two of them. They are both brand new but I don't need two of them. It is made by Hamburg-Technic in Germany. It comes with a very good set of instructions and photos. Looks just like the Schnell version and has a tapped hole in the center of the spherical bearing cage possibly for a Zerks fitting.

$50 plus shipping which is less than $10 just about anywhere in the US.

Thanks

Just for the record, I bought this same short shifter off e-bay.
I installed it a couple weeks ago, and I'm loving it so far.

That's good to hear because I thought the spherical bearing seemed a bit looser than on my drop links. Did you grease it first? I've found a rubber boot that fits over the bearing and plan to use it to retain the grease.

I also got one of those. Quality is not good and spherical bearing was loose inside its bracket. I put some wire bitween bushing and bracket to fix the bushing in place.

Those who have installed it. How is shifter in the car? I did not get mine in the center. Shifter holds to the left. I tried to adjust it.

I don't want to sell something if it isn't up to snuff. So far I've heard from two users that say they work great and one that had an issue with centering at the shift lever. I suppose centering at the shift lever is a function of where the detent is drilled on the short shift shaft. Anyone else ever used these as opposed to the Schnell?
