Post Anyone Looking for '89 944NA in NC??

If I can get the guy to come down on a Checkmate ski boat I have found for sale I may put the 944 up for sale. Not quite sure what the asking price will be yet.It has just had timing belt, rollers, tensioners, waterpump, brake pads, radiatior hoses(top and bottom),battery, thermo fan switch, fan relay, and all new brake sensors replaced.Brand new tires.205.40.17 and 235.45.17 Kuhmos mounted on Turbo Twist Replicas..less than 1000 miles on them...It is Guards Red in color.Very sharp car.Black interior and is in good shape.Dash is cracked but has coverlay? cover on it.I'll try and get some pics done shortly.I also have the factory phonedials Mikey has refinished still mounted on the tires that came with the car.

No..not an S2...milage is 148,000 on odometer.I was told by previous owner that motor was rebuilt somewhere around 100,000 miles.Nothing mechanical wrong with the car other than the "normal 944 oil leak" and the ABS light will come on after driving the car a couple of miles.I replaced all the pad sensors thinking that was the problem but haven't gone further to check it out.

Well thanks to a fellow Rennlister I found the problem with the ABS light. It appears the difference in the front and rear tire sizes is the culprit.I took the phonedials with the original tires that came on them and changed them out.Drove the car and light never did come on again.I guess the sensor was picking up the difference between the 205.40's and the 235.45's.Wish I had tried that before buying all new sensors! Here is a shot of the car also.
