Looks very fake. First, underneath the chooper's boom, there's some strange looking image...evidence of photoshop? Also, there's no water shooting upwards where the shark would have leaped out of the water. Also, I doubt sharks would go near anything as noisy as a chopper.

Anyway, sharks do that in off one island, not by Africa but somewhere over in the pacific. The water is shallow enough that they sit and wait for a seal, and then thrust upwards with their tail, grab the seal, and spring out of the water. Looked amazing, I think I saw it on "Shark Week" on Discovery Channel.

Actualy...sharks DO that in South Africa! I have both of the DVDs of the presentations on Discovery. There is an island off South Africa where the water is deep just off the island. It gives white sharks the ability to build up great speed in a vertical ascent. Seeing a 2000lbs - 15 foot animal just do that is amazing. No way that could happen in shallow water. Anyways, i saw the explanation on that photo as well. Entertaining, but fake. Oh well!
