Post Rusted Nut Removal

I'm trying to remove the nut that holds on the strap for the gas tank, to try and find my leak, and I'm having some trouble. It's really rusted and is pretty much round at this point. I can't use heat because it's right near my gas leak. I've let it soak in wd40 for awile but still nothing. Any ideas on how I can get this off?
I can take a pic if that would help.

Thanks,

Conor

I second the PB Blaster. I used that stuff to loosen the clips that hold the flex lines to the brakes in place.
Other ideas...

Use an old socket (or buy a cheap one) one size smaller than the nut. Force it on with a hammer and use it to get the nut off.

Sacrifice the bolt for the good of the car and dremel it off.

And buy a new nut for when you reassemble it.

You can also get a nut cracker, if it will fit.

Thanks again guys! PB Blaster worked, along with a really big breaker bar. I used a 1/2 socket instead of 13mm and it fit perfect.
