Default Good mechanic in NoVA area?

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the Northern VA/DC area?

I was taking my car to Foreign Auto Service in Fairfax, but it turns out they know nothing. So I've been in contact with another mechanic (who specializes in Porsche/BMW) who sounds like he actually knows what he's talking about, but he never calls back or has a time when I can bring my car in. So I'm getting fed up already... They're called Auto Sportsystems Group, or something like that...

Anyone got any recommendations?

Auto Sportsystems Group has been my go-to shop for years, although Taylor (my mechanic) has recently moved to another place. Still, you won't go wrong with ASG.

This guy is really good. As mentioned above, he opened his own place.

There are several good places. I have been going to Funktion near Dulles Airport ( www.funktionauto.com ). Really good shop. IMO stay away from Curry's.

+1. I ruined the head on my S and they are making it right again. Top notch service so far.

Just to let you guys know, I gave this guy a call and I'm bringing my car in next week... He sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

He does. He's been the one working on my car for eight years.
