I've been doing electrical/electronic work of one kind or another for the past seven years. It's all I really know. I might change my major to physics later on. We'll see what happens. Chemistry is a pre-rec, so I don't have much of a choice in the matter. It is interesting, though.

Wow. Pre-req for EE. That's cool, I'd like chem to be a pre-req for EE for me. Diversifies my background, although, I'd like to use my EE degree to get into Law School. It will better fund my Porsche(s) in the long run .

Long run... I'm going to attempt an MBA so I can transfer out of the "labor" pool. Must fund the Porsche addiction.

I studied Molecular Biology in College and ended up in an inorganic Chemistry lab. (Bluh!) But hey, it pays the bills.

I am also a network guy. I have done most everything. Helpdesk, server admin., infrastructure stuff. Infrastructure stuff/Cisco is what my focus is on and that is what I will do once I get out of the Air Force. Right now I have about 5 routers and a few switches stacked up on my desk, I am using them as I study for my CCNP routing test. Pretty much I do whatever I want.

Any other Cisco nerds here??

What am I suppose to be doing? Making sure the network is ok. Yet another unemployed IT guy. Used to get paid to surf rennlist in between work time, now I just burn free time and pay for a cable modem hook up to talk with you all. hmmm Also went back to running an auto shop part time because getting a java programming job in St. Louis is a pain in the a$$ I sell tires too!
