Zims rebuilt WP is fine. I bought one that has lasted three times longer than the original....knock on wood I don't know if the belt kit has aftermarket or OE rollers. Either way, they're probably fine. But I wouldn't "cheap-out" on the belts. That's one item I'd probably want passed directly from the Porsche Dealership parts guy's hands, into mine. Or at least make damn sure it's Genuine Original Equipment....Not "OEM" or "OE equivalent," like you see on 'EvilBay.'

Just make sure the timing belt isn't made by Fleenor. Conti and Gates are both good brands for belts.

Oh crap, what's wrong with the Fleenor brand belts? I got the timing and balance belts that were going to go on this weekend.

I'm not the first one that had a Fleenor that fit this bad from the tooth spacing. Personally I would never use one again when there are better belts to be found. Some people have had no problems with them, go figure huh?

Well, isn't that special.

Before I take it apart, I guess I'll get a Conti to have on hand in case it doesn't line up. If it does fit all right, I'll have a head start on my next change. Are you aware of any problems with the Fleenor balance shaft belt?
