Default Advise on Rear Control Arm Bushing Replacement - Resolved

For those of you who have replaced the rubber rear control arm (banana arm) bushing with either delrin or spherical bearings. In either case do you have to remove the steel liners in the control arm?

To clarify, the rubber bushings are out and I am left with two steel liners on each control arm. Do these stay in place if fitting delrin or spherical bearings?

Also, if they have to be removed what is the best way of doing this? They cannot be pressed out as they are in two halves.

TIA Mike
