Question Alpine White Touch Up Paint?

My dad just noticed that Duplicolor makes Alpine White touch up paint - and it's the ONLY Porsche color thay have. Since there are SO MANY Guards Red cars out there, I'm guessing that the Alpine White is a dead on match for some other color from a different manufacturer. Otherwise, I'd think that Duplicolor would also have Guards Red.

So, anyone know what the other match is? Local stores with Duplicor don't have the Alpine White - but they might have the other match - assuming there is one.

Alpine white (L90E) is a rather common VW color.

Audi & VW both use L90E "Alpine White" no surprise that Audi uses it since VW & Porsche do. If you have Pep Boys where you at you might try there. They carry the correct mixes for several Audi/VW/Porsche colors.

Thanks Max, there's a Pep Boys down the street from work. I swore I'd never go there again after a tire fiasco several years ago, but maybe I'll give them another chance.

The paint code for the touch up paint is 3300 (if your pepboys is using the same vendor) for the 1 oz. bottle. It has a finger nail polish type brush inside the bottle. Good luck.

Mad Max,
Scored two bottles of Alpine White from the local Pep Boys. Cross over color is VW's Antique White. The Plasti-kote number is 5803 VW for the spray can and VW 3300 for the touch-up paint.
Thanks,

PS: Still hate that Pep Boys - took 30 minutes to "dig" through the crap they called a paint center to find the right stuff.
