Default Another Q re: Fuchs fitment

will these wheels fit my 84 944 n/a without any fuss? http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/pts/731281554.html
Do I want them at this price?

oh, and do I need to be wary of fake fuchs? How could I identify genuine ones?

Thanks in advance, and aloha.

They should fit the early offset 84, but IMO the width is a little narrow for a 944. should be 7in front and 8in rear so you might need four 1in spacers to make them fill the wheel well.

For a perfect set the price is about right.

Genuine ones have a porsche part# stamped on them and they have a small fox head cast into the wheel at the back (fuchs=fox in german).

Thanks in advance, and aloha.

+1 to what Mike (or Gina) said.

IIRC, real Fuchs should be very light (something like 15~17 lbs?) and will have a 911 or 951 part number stamped on the inside. Take this with a grain of salt as this is just what I remember from reading Rennlist.

I just sold a set the same as those for 600$, I may have been a little low but 1300$ seems a bit high but i guess since they have tires its alright. Yeah the fuch's have 911. part numbers on the back of them and it also says their width (Jx6 Jx7) also. When I went to ship myc fuchs i weighed them on the scale, 14.7 pounds!
