Default oil pressure gauge bouncing around A LOT

this just started happening recently. yes i read the thread from February about peoples oil pressure gauge bouncing a bit but mine is bouncing all over the place, from 0 to 5 and everywhere in between. sometimes it will settle and show me correct pressure but recently its just been going berserk. is my sender unit going?

i checked the 2 wires that are attached to it under the car and everything seems good there, sprayed a little electrical cleaner on the connections but it didnt help.

i hope my gauge cluster isnt going south? is there some easy way to check the oil pressure sender gauge itself if its not the sender?

thanks.

Is the car also idling strangely?

Take a look at both of these...
