If you have late offset, you need to either rig some threaded rod and some lock nuts to get the extra length or buy the longer tie rods / ends combo from paragon.

If early, then yes, only the shaft and rack (assuming the tie rods are still on it).

PM me if you have any questions, i just did the conversion this past weekend. My brother and I fab'd up the original intermediate shaft to work.

Doc,

I took a look at the end of the rack and I can see the bushing you speak of. Thanks for the tips -- I will be cleaning it up this weekend if I get time.

I will post pics.

Chad -- I am interested to hear how you fabbed the existing i-shaft.

I've searched and I didn't find what I was looking for, so I found it appropriate to ask in this (old) thread.

What grease should I use? I've got some Amsoil Series 2000 Synthetic Racing Grease laying around... Would this be appropriate?

I'm having trouble getting the inner tie rods off the rack. Suggestions? PB blaster hasn't helped a bit. The rack is not on the car...

Are there flats on the inner tierod end? Use 2 big crescent wrenches... one on the tierod end and 1 on the lock nut.
