It's also perfect for restoring temporary gloss to oxidized Fuchs and Club Sport wheels. Any of the Back to Black products or plain old Johnson's Furniture Wax will do the same. They make the chalky oxidation disappear and replace it with a gloss that makes them look nearly clear coated, albeit for a few hours, days or the first puddle you hit

"40) Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and stops the itch."

I wonder how it would do on jellyfish stings. I think I already have a bottle on the boat.

Ken East might want to check out the MSDS sheet of his own product. 'Harmful or fatal' if swallowed sounds 'hurtful' to me. It is still a great product with many uses but it won't cure cancer or grow hair on your knuckles. The aliphatic hydrocarbon/petroleum based percentages are at or above 90% by volume. Maybe the non-aerosol cans are different but I doubt it.

I absolutely hate WD40 - I won't even let it in my shop. It's a poor lubricant and even worse as a penetrant. Most of my lubrication/penetrant needs are met with various Kano products.

I used to be in a band whose bass player loved spraying his bass neck and strings with WD40. Man, I always thought the guy smelled like a "grease-monkey," and would sometimes "waste" his WD40 by spraying it and holding a lighter up, creating an awesome flame thrower!

43) If you sprayed WD-40 on the distributor cap, it would displace the moisture and allow the car to start.

Worked for me and started the car!
