you only need to worry about phosphates if you have 'hard' water. Then again, as suggested, go with 50/50 premix or use distilled water.
My guess is you're freaking out about your temp gauge being pegged at earth-core temps. Don't worry. As long as you're not in the red and your fans kick in to bring the temp down, you're ok. Or better yet, when you see it way up near the top, tap the guage like they did in the old biplanes. I do this all the time and the needle goes down. Or maybe just put some electrical tape over the guage. That works too.

I have no overheating issues at all. my gauge never goes above the middle mark even with hard driving in the summer.
I just wanted to try the water wetter, it says it reduces hot spots and also helps protect against corrossion, so I thought it wouldn't hurt trying it. Also wouldn't be bad if the car ran a little cooler on a hot summer day in traffic.
