Angry Stupid #*$&%@# @&#$er!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bitch cut all my under dash ****! Power windows, cut clean...power locks that I spent three hours installing, cut and wires stuffed into the door...radio, you get the idea. I got wondering why my windows didn't work when the did before my car went to ****. I start crawling under my dash and thought, "Huh, what is this wire tie here for?" A little tug and my Autoloc central locking box falls on my forehead followed by a mass or wires. It was no accident, they were cut clean about 6 inches from the box, power window, same thing. I have windows and radio now, but I'm going to just F the door locks. I'm beyond furious. Add that onto having to put the window back on track and you're weekend is off to a not so good start, plus this dick I know tried rubbing his newly acquired 2000 Celica GT in my face. Bad night. I know you guys will understand, I've heard worse stories on here.

There was something about power windows and locks, but didn't catch it... Still unclear as to the circumstances surrounding this despicable act.

Sorry to hear about that, so what happened? Did someone break into your car and try to steal it or just vandalize it? You might want to drink a few of these and call it a night. I know you just put a lot of work into it and how happy you were when you got it together. Again sorry to hear about that, hope you catch the bastards that did it.

He just had the engine rebuilt/installed and it sounds like the mechanic/shop was screwing around on the inside for some unknown reason..

Sorry to hear it dude, sounds almost like enough to get me thinking about frustrating revenge (lowering tire pressure in 3 tires, always rotating which three.. gum in the door locks, vaseline on the windows, etc...)

Like Brian said, the guy at the shop finishing up the engine appearently got bored and started snipping wires. I got my revenge in a different way...I happened to hear (cough cough) that three people just had their cars pulled from his shop and are going to do the work themselves. Two 944's and a '76 911. I wonder why they did that, I doubt it has anything to do me knowing the owner's dad and the guys who had their cars there. You screw around with my "girl" and you're gonna pay. He knows I'm responsible too, so I doubt he'll be so scissor happy next time.

-edit-
I'll try and snap a pic tonight and let you guys see what I'm talking about. Most of the wires are still bundled together...looks like R2D2 took a $iht under my dash.

Can I ask why you just didn't go to the cops? The man purposefully (or not) damaged private property. Why do all this backwards revenge? Just make him pay to fix it.

The mechanic got bored and started cutting wires? Am I missing something here? This is not normal behavior for mechanics, even when they are bored. Why do you really think he did it?

Matt, I know this sounds stupid, but I didn't feel like going through the hassle of law enforcement. It took me about two hours of working on it to decypher everything and get it all back together (it's hard to maneuver under that dash ). I don't hold a grudge, he hurt my schedule a little, I hurt his payments a little...dumb yes, but I'm young, that's my excuse.

Peckster, I'm not sure why he did. Maybe he was going by the factory wiring diagram and those 5 wires there weren't supposed to be there and didn't know better, and I rewired my window circuit (used all relays, just different place). I've never heard of this being done by him before, and he is the only Porsche shop (not specialty) in the area that won't charge you the price of kidneys on the black market.

All is well now, and for some reason my camera isn't taking a digital pic, it's recording the pic to the tape, and when I take the tape out, it just holds the image on the screen for a few seconds, then fades back into the normal view. I haven't figured it out yet. Since I'm going to take the locks out anyway, I was going to take a pic of the "storage" job done on the wires. I'm not terribly pissed at the guy (atleast not anymore), but I'll never go to him nor recommend him again.

If that were me, I would haul his *** down to the closest public square, hang him upside down by his little toes on the oak tree, and watch as his head explodes.

Then, I would raid his shop.

I will let you in on a little tip I have learned during my Porsche dealings.. don't let anyone screw with you. Call the cops, call a lawyer, do what is needed, but take the dude down if he did that.

It's just not right.

Yah, this is an odd situtation. Maybe someone was wondering around the shop, say like customer and decided to mess with ur car. Who knows. Thats one wierd wrench. You sure all that wasnt done before it went in the shop??

The windows worked fine before it went in...I would roll them down to let heat out of the car on hot days...kinda like the sitting in the car playing with the shifter when the engine is out, doesn't accomplish much, but makes you feel better. Radio and all worked fine too. Either it was a new guy, a drunk guy, or a depressed guy working on it. It was more frustrating than infuriating. Now if he did something more detrimental to the function of engine or such, then that would be a different story, and I would place a suit against him and use the money for upgrades, because I'd be damn sure no one else ever worked on it but me, and a few guys on here. Like I said, I don't get REALLY mad very often, but when I do, I'm childish about it...I would rather cause the pain myself than let a lawyer do it.

-edit-
Just a side note...not to be mean, but the guy had one eye, maybe he got his "wires crossed".

It sounds like there's only one side to this story. You didn't say if you talked to the mechanic to find out if he did it or why. Maybe it was the dick in the Celica GT. It doesn't make any sense for a mechanic to do something like that for no reason. Did you have any problems with him before this happened? If you blame it on the wrong person the dick who did it will get even more pleasure from it and may keep messing with your car. But maybe if I met your mechanic I'd change my mind.
