Default Window Motor

After 8 years with a 944/924 series car, this is my first window problem.
Can hear the motor working, but the window just slides up a little and falls back down. I can get it to seal for rainy days by helping it up and holding until the motor catches up.
I'm hoping its as simple as just changing the motor, but I'd figure I would ask before I start.

Probably not the motor, but the scissors has a broken tooth in the sector gear.
