Default Pics of brake cooling ducts

StoogeMoe asked me for pics of my brake ducts, since mine use the slot below the foglights and not the foglight opening. So here's the pics. I'm not really sure what you'll learn, they just look like brake ducts to me. The bad news is I don't know who made these, they were on the car when I bought it. They do fit nicely around the back of the opening in the bumper. I did enlarge the openings in the bumper. My only complaint about them is that both of the wheel end adapters are the same, so the one on the driver's side points up a little and the one on the passenger side points down. The deal here is the one that points up routes the duct around the sway bar and seems to stay out of trouble. The one that points down does not clear the sway bar cleanly and hangs down lower and gets torn up at least once a year.
Cheers
Randy

Hmm - are those charlie a-arms? You better not tell me where you park at night My car was destined for another night outside tonight with all the parts I've got lying around. Wind picked up and I made a place for her though in the garage

Thanks for the pics.

If OG doesn't make the scoops anymore, they should be easy enough to make myself? I would have to acquire skills in working with fiberglass.

So are those inlets effective? Will that provide enough cooling to the brakes? I really don't want to give up my fog lights. I know I can buy fog light scoops.

I have two brand new ducts (the parts that connect to the spindle), they are for a Turbo but they might work for you.

Thanks, but I already have the spindle side taken care of. I just need to get the inlet side.

My car will be here in Norcross at my office next Thursday before I leave for Barber, I'll keep an eye out for you...

StoogeMoe - I've never had brake fade issues while racing so I would have to say they work fine

Cheers
Randy
