Ahh... that's cool! Kick the Hokies while we're down! By the way, what was the score for that last game?!!!

I'm just kidding, txhedg! UVA is a wonderful school, or I wouldn't have applied there! (I was accepted, by the way, I just decided to go to VaTech, the bars are closer together!)
VaTech 95-03 (Please, no jokes about the amount of time here, I have a lot to learn!)

I think you may have a short or bad contact to your fuel pump. Sounds like a bad contact more than anything. I had a problem of the engine cutting out under hard acceleration and turned out to be a bad connection to my reference sensor. Try cleaning the contact to your pump and also the wire connector further up the wiring loom. Good luck

The harness runs down the left/drivers side, to the rear seat then tucked under the small lip that the rear seat material is clipped to and down through the floor to the fuel pump and trans. Lift the cargo area mat and the little rubber boots may hold your problem. May have been crushed by something thrown in the back.
Just a thought- look for two wires in that harness touching.
