ahh...opportunity for upgrade
So last night, after 3 weeks of sweat and tears i finally got the rubber damper disc off my '88 auto. Because of the way it broke, i had to totally drop the rear suspension. I figure i plan to put some bucks in the p-car in the near future, so why not start with the rear suspension. I have a pair of Koni yellow adjustables on the way. Can anyone recommend other upgrades that i should take care of, now that i have the whole rear of the car taken apart?

I got the rear Koni yellow adjustables in, they look awesome. I was thinking these to compliment:

(weltmeister adjustable rear sway bar, $249 from paragon)

(Weltmeister drop links: $89 from paragon)

(weltmeister control arm bushings, $16 from paragon)
Just thought this would be a nice setup, it fits my budget.Any thoughts?

You could go for a used Turbo rear bar. It would be a vast improvemet over what you have. The other option is to go 968 M030 bars, but you woul have to do the set front and rear at the same time.
I would repair any tranny leaks, replace CV's or repack, replace tranny mount, and if you ever wanted a short shift kit, put it on then.
Hope that helps... you did not say what your budget was.

I have an auto, so no short shift. My tranny doesn't leak. I kind of like the weltmeister vs. the M030, but i am just judging by pics. I would say my budget for the rear suspension is about $375 - $400.
What does a used rear turbo bar go for? Is it lighter or something?. And i suppose it is not just bolt on, especially an auto.
