I looked into it for my 944 (same thing I believe) and it was very expensive. In order to make it a bolt-on, the unit has to run from the 4-to-2 header collectors all the way back to the resonator, so it's a complex piece (at 2-to-1 collector, downpipe and about three feet of exhaust tube. Given that my car is now registered "historic" and is exempt from emissions tests, I am just going to cut out and replace the cat with a resonator.

I bought one from a guy on Pelican, already fabbed up.

A friend of mine has one for sale I believe too. His user name is 153BigBlock on rennlist.

You could try a muffler shop too.

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just cut off the exhaust before the o2 sensor and weld a flange there and onto the cat and then have an exhaust shop fab up a simple straight test pipe with flanges attatched? Then you could switch between the test pipe and cat whenever you want. I don't know if that made any sense at all
