Default WTB: Low Side R134a Valve for S2

The low side shrader valve is broken on my S2. I need to get good working one in order to get my a/c up and running. Anyone got an R134a low side valve lying around? This is the valve that goes on the compressor itself.

They sell them at auto parts stores.

Threaded to install in the a/c compressor? If so then I'll drop on down to my local Autozone or O'Reillys. Thanks.

Does it matter whether it's a double or single valve? The one that is bad on mine supposedly had to valves in it but it was badly worn out and the cap broke off in one of the valves.

I'm pretty sure. You might have better luck trying a smaller parts store but I'm almost positive Advanced Auto Parts have them. I would say to replace it with what you had before but if you can't find it then go with the other one and see if it works.

You need a special tool - sell at auto parts stores and access to an air compressor. After watching it get done it doesn't look too hard.

To recharge it? You can buy a kit with a hose and pressure guage and 134 for 20 bucks...

If you are redoing your system, you need a vaccum puller...
