No rust here, but my car has never seen winter since new so I would not expect any.

One spot on the left rear fender behind the wheel arch (from an improper repair in the past), one in the right side hatch lock in the center panel (still covered by the hatch seal).
Car has seen 14 winters in wet and saline environment (that tends to make cars corrode faster than they wear tires) and only 2 inside a garage, with no 3 coming.
Galvanisation is a perfect addition to the normal corrosion protection!!

EDIT:
Battery tray still looks brand new.....

A tiny amount under the windscreen rubber trim across the top which is apparently quite common over here. Other than that body is rust free. Mine lives out and gets used in all weathers year round.

I wonder why 964s seem to rust more than ours given the same body prep?

The car is 19 years old, and has 0% rust- it has even been a daily driver since 96 and is amazingly reliable.

I remember when I was trying to do my steering rack the damn bolt where the U-joint was connected to the steering rack was so rusted. Don't know why that particular screw was so rusted while the rest of my car seems rust free... <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I've gotten 2 spots, one of them is now fixed.

One came up behind the drivers side mirror. I still have no idea how that happened. The other is behind the rear drivers side rock guard. I pulled it off and sanded it a bit and just put a bit of paint on it to last til the summer. Oh well, maybe it is just the fact that it rains here 75% of the time!!!
