My brother and I were driving home after a graduation party, and i've never showed him how fast my car was. So he told me to "after you go around this corner, floor it." I missunderstood him, and I herd "as your going through this corner, floor it." So I did, I was in second gear at 20 miles per hour, and I floored it right as I was turing onto the street. My car spins around on the road once, I hit the brakes, turn the wheel the opposite direction, then end up going on the orchard still spinning, and stopping before I hit a tree. No damage done to my car, except for some dust. Which then I immediatly pulled into my garage, and cleaned my car. I just fully detailed it on Wensday!!! So I guess I've got another four hour detailing on my car agian tommarow. Tommarow is our last day of school, and when I show up in my 924S, i'll probaly be driving very slow. After the incident I thought to myself "When ever I go around a corner, i'm gonna go very slowly". Lol.



Also, I know I wasn't supposed to turn the wheel the other way when my car spun out of control, I just did becuase at that time I didn't know what to do.

 

no you are supposed to turn it the other way. the direction you WANT to be going. pushing the brakes in is a sure way to spin though....next time try gas instead...

better yet. go to an auto-x. I bet that wont happen again...

never accelarate going into a corner, rather accelarate out of the corner, and never hit the brakes if the car spins, give it more gas.

 

Mine is fast. My engine isn't stock. The previous owner collects Porsche, and he used this 924S as his track car sometimes. The PO put twelve thousand dollars into the engine, susupension, tranmisson, ect. That reminds me, I need to get the service records from him. Is there any thing else I should ask for? Thanks for the advice guys.

I know I shouldn't be trying to show off, but he thinks his 1973 Pontiac Ventura is faster. He was proven wrong.
