Oh good, now I know what that means. I always thought that happened when you took out your gauges, then when you tried to put them back in, they would always fall. Woot, that reliefs some stress.

Borys, are you kidding, I love the gauges you sold me. So much better than the stock yellows, and I love the voltmeter, which is very handy.

m73m95: thanks. I like the wood wheel too, but wish it were less shiny. My next project is to install a refurbished dash, maybe covered in leather. stand by.

It's not as worn as the image makes it look, not to the naked eye anyway, but it's pretty decent. The leather and stiching is in good shape. The horn button has a "prior owner" badge that always turns heads. Its install had to be cut into the back of the horn button, looks like with a knife or switchblade, and then locked in with a nut. It's secure and looks good where it is to me.
