Default starting issue and oil psi flutter

Saturday got jammed in traffic (though car was not excessivly hot)
got to a destination and picked up my date, only for car to not start

EMBARRASING - especially as I was suited and booted in my 40's
electric blue lindy suite so crawling around an engine bay in a slightly dodgy part of South London was fun

DME relay's (all relays actually) was stonking hot.

immoby fob no bleeping, when eventually bleeped and alarm off only
got a click, as if immoby not off

had this before, so left for about 20mins and started, frozen peas on
top of the immoby helped

is it best to bypass this or look around for cause.

my alarm also bypasses 2 circuits so is CAT1

was thinking maybe of putting a fan under the seat to allow cool air
to flow (did this before but since removed it)
also CD changer is behind seat so maybe airflow was blocked

also noticed my oil gauge is flickering when hot or cold i.e 5psi or
3psi notches - before it only did this when hot, not cold

when it flickers I get a rough idle at the same time

full front end done (belts rolars etc), plugs, dizzy cap and rotar arm
