Post Engine Bearings

I have the engine out(don't ask) of my 83 944 NA, wondering if I should replace the main & Rod bearings while it is out. I could also reeing but wondering the hassle benefit, I just got the car and don't know the history so looking for some help.
Thanx

(Live 100 miles from Hersey and stuck in Tokyo for the weekend)

You might as well replace all the wear items you can get your hands on then, since the engine's already out.
