That is an awesome car. For the money (I cheated and searched up completed auctions on ebay) I would take over most any $20-30K lexus, BMW, mercedes, etc

I don't think I would give up my Lexus...to many options the bent doesn't have...the main ones; touch screen controls, back up camera, 30 mpg, heated and AC seats (the list goes on) but for a 4th car it will be fun to drive around in.

I looked it up, it's not much on horsepower, 297. But good lord, the TORQUE..... 487 ft. lbs.

Bit of a tank though at nearly 5300lbs, should make for a nice and comfy highway cruiser.

The above specs are, of course, depending on the accuracy of Wikipedia.

Nice ride! For fun, you should look up James May's first day on Top Gear where he "test drives" his own Bentley: histerical!

linky?

To the OP, you didn't happen to buy it from Smith Volvo out here in California did you? I recognize the background of the pics and I think I have seen the car before...
Eitherway, ENJOY IT!

Very nice Bentley. If you're going to get a heavy, bulky, lumbering car, (i.e. if you're looking at 928s) why not go all the way and get something posh, plush, and elegant? Happy motoring!

Yes it was smiths. Is there something I should know? I am on the east coast so I have no idea about smiths other than their web site.

gorgeous piece of British royal machinery. i doubt it depreciates much and you got it at the right time.

you'll definitely be somebody when you pull up to taco bell in that bad boy!

I would love to see that. I am a fan of Mr May. His dryness compliments the show. I wish I could get that show on DVD. BBC America only runs repeats.

Default HP and Torque #s

Not sure if you have the owners manual, but under the engine rating section, if I recall correctly, it states for these and the rolls cars:

Sufficient

Gotta love the english humor!

Sorry for dragging up the past... But;
No, it is just up the street from my friends house and because of the fact you are on the east coast I thought it was interesting that I recognized the background.

I bought my Silver Spur the same way on Ebay but my auction had horrible picts and a reserve so the bidding did not get very high. The owner took my low ball offer outside Ebay just so she would not have to deal with selling it.

I am even trying to flip mine just like you are
