Lindsey Racing Engine Upgrade
I'm considering installing the Lindsey 270 RWHP kit on my 1986 944 Turbo. Would anyone who has installed the same kit care to comment on their satisfaction with this kit and the customer support from Lindsey?

K26 benefits huge from the 3" and more from 4". And it would be no secret that a 4" downpipe dumped out the side would produce even more power at higher boost

pretty slick. weld er up front and at a set boost pressure it will open the dump.
To answer the guys question. Lindsey has top notch customer service and they ship super quick. Those are good kits. Russell's chips are excellent, the exhaust does the trick and you obviously need the 3bar and boost controller etc... for any future upgrades anyway

you must not know what the outlet diameter of his #6 hotside is. I know all about differential pressure, but there are many other things I would install first before a lindsey mild steel 3 inch exhaust

I'd say build the package yourself and I agree with 944cs, the difference between 2.5" and 3" is minimal with a tiny k26/6. For the money you could get a better quality exhaust like fabspeed 3", B&B 2.5" (the best), or a SFR system 3". Get the chips from lindsey since they offer that trade-in deal and they're still maxx chips which are the best deal. The 3bar FPR is a BMW sourced part that you can get elsewhere for quite cheaper, do a search. Also keep in mind the lindsey boost enhancer is not a boost controller and should not be used as one.

I have the lindsey 3" exhaust and I feel that it sounds great. I bought mine a while back when it was on sale for around $450 new. I will agree with everyone that there are defenetly better systems out there and now that lindsey is charging a lot more I would consider another vendor for 100-150 more.
Performance gains are only accomplished by dropping the cat not the 3" system. I think you would be very happy with this setup, however at the end of the day it WILL NOT PRODUCE the advertised hp on a k26/6 car. Good luck and Lindsey Racing customer service is one of the best in the auto industry period.
