The entire assembly was not balanced as a unit. The PP should have been balanced from the factory. The engine itself feels smooth, it's the shift lever that buzzes.

I wrote to Jim Pasha (Excellence) and Jim said to check the shift lever pin for wear. If it's worn it will vibrate.

I've had a vibration at about 3200 rpm since I bought my S2 about 11k ago. My clutch was replaced 3 days after I bought the car with a rubber disk.

I thought it was a heat shield, and have been too lazy to check into it. The heat shields on all my RX7s were much louder so I've been ignoring it.

I'd appreciate hearing what the final verdict is.
