Post OT - Audi TT Forum similar to Rennlist?

Anyone know of a good one?
Night before last my girlfriend bought a Lake Silver Coupe. 225HP, Quattro, Xenon headlights, Bose, etc. Nice little car, looking for some info much like we all share here.
Any help appreciated.

What a great little car, the TT's are beautiful and I would love to have a coupe. And I dare say that they are better looking than the boxster, but I have always fetl the boxsters were just a bit off.

Chris, What did you say to me in that thread? To get the TT, the S2000, or was it the Boxster? She wasn't getting a Boxster no matter what - $$$.

She WAS locked on to the S2000, but Honda just would not deal AT ALL. They were over MSRP by $2K to $3K, including the dealers recommended by the S2Ki Forum that supposedly sell at MSRP- sure they do...if you buy the terribly inflated ground effects kit (Can you say, "RICE!")

My buddy went to trade his '00 180HP TT in the Spring for a '02 225 TT Roadster w/ Quattro. Unfortunately, the dealer had a Red Boxster lined up right next to a red TT Roadster. Yup, he bought the Boxster. Now he says he misses his TT. His girlfriend loved the TT, doesn't care for the Boxster - says it is too Yuppie, too "Puhleez look at me in my POOOORSHUH". I tend to agree.

I like this little car. Only driven it once - last night. MUCH more room than the S2000. The power available in the lower RPM range is much more useable than the S2000's in the upper (and I do mean upper, 8-9K!) RPM ranges. It's a used '01 with 7000 miles. 3 of the 4 year free maintenance and warranty is left, PLUS an additional 2 years since it is a "certified" used Audi. Takes the warranty to 4/2006 and 100,000 miles! Not bad!
Hope it turns out to be a goody. I love the look in the silver and polished alloys.
EDIT - Thanks for the positive comments Ian, and the references to the Audi forum.

Seeing as how I sell the TTs, You can guess my Reco!

Enjoy that car, it really is a blast.

Find some secluded twisties, if you do it right it can drift sooooo sweetly (just turn that ESP off).

Oh, and if pushing it, no hard tail braking... when the ABS system kicks in, it becomes more effective on the front rotors and can *potentially* cause the tail to step out. I found this out when Demo-ing one in the snow, swapped ends like a 911!

enjoy! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
