Question Does the AC and Power Steering Belt Stretch?

I'm thinking about changing my AC and Power Steering belt and was wondering if they need to be retensioned like the timing belts after a certain amount of miles. would a used and new belt be "stretched" the same amount? if so, i will just remove the whole turnbuckle which would be a lot easier than trying to turn the rusted adjuster nuts.

thanks,
sm

Yea.. they will stretch. Best thing is to buy some new ajusting rods, and check and adjust every oil change since they are right there. New rods are like $20 each.. I think. That is the one thing I have not purchased, yet. Although, a loose one will not be a big deal, just squeaky.
