That IS Doug Hayashi's photo from the '01 Virginia City Hillclimb. Apparently a bug with the digital camera, but nothing that a simple color correction can't fix, don't know why Doug doesn't do it to all his pink Ferrari photos:

Yeah, I was just browsing his site and saw that pic with the 951 hiding (or waiting patiently to strike) in the background.

DUH!! And now I see the 1-800-PHONEGUYS trailer and the whole nine yards...big whoops on my part.
Dan how'd you enhance that red so easily? Looks SO good! I'm still learning the ways of the Photoshop.

Photoshop is probably one of the most successful software packages out there. Many a Macintosh were sold in the mid-'80s just to run Photoshop along with the first desktop laser-printers for desktop-publishing.
Anyway, easy way to touch up color balances is to pull down IMAGE->Adjust Hue/Saturation and try out different HUE values. In this case, I used +20 to change the pink Viper to red. Also increased the SATURATION by +10 to make the color more vibrant.
Then finished off with two passes of the Filter->Sharpen->UnSharpMask to remove some of the burriness. You can really see the difference in the background rocks, the Mustang's rear-end, the Vipers wheels, and you can almost make out the 1-800-PhoneGuys on the side of the truck...
