i just searched for how to get to the light tunnels to resurface them in order to make the guages brighter. i have dual airbags and am curious if this can be done without taking the strring wheel off. does the entire guage cluster have to come out? last time i almost got it out, but it was caught on my 911 c2 looking steering wheel

Any ideas?

 

The gauge cluster must be removed from the car. You can get it out without taking off the wheel (at least on a stock wheel, I am not sure about aftermarket wheels.) Takes a bit of twisting and wiggling, but it comes out.
