Default 968 STRUT BUSHING SWAP

Anyone swapped out their original 968 bushings for a late 944 setup. The reason for doing this is Porsche wants $350.00 each. Yes the decimal is in the right place. Thats $700 for a set! I understand there is only a minor difference between the "old" 944 set up and the 968.

I'm looking for a parts source and a sucess story. Help!

Come on, nobody has changed strut bushings on their 968? I can't believe I'm the only one with an issue. I have seen a conversion to a "non rubber" solid mount for about $200.00, but I really don't want to do that. A little help please.

I am concerned about increasing NVH. It is a daily driver and it is already a little loud regarding tire noise. Keep in mind I've had this car for 11 years.

I replaced my stock bushings with solid bushings for my 968....then replaced them as soon as I was able with some used older style (the bushings without the extra weight bar). My 968 is a daily driver too. I don't know for certain that these are the bushings you reference...but they work fine for me.

Depends on if you are refering to the "A" arm bushings or the strut bushings (at the top of the strut where it attaches to the body).

I've already replaced the rear "A" arm bushings with an OEM original part for what that's worth.
