Thumbs up

According to Asarus, this guy made his own clear turnsignals for his 951 cup car. You can tell that they are homemade, but they look good, in my opinion:

Hey Tifosiman, how about having your company develop a 3/2.5 Ti exhaust system for our cars?

"You won't believe this Dan. The very next day after seeing that 951 with the clears my mom brought a bunch of that material home from work for me to rig some clears for my 944! She's so coo'"

Yeah that was great meeting your mom, she's awesome. Will she adopt me?

What about 944 NA front turn signals? I know that there was a guy in Sweden (?) who had a limited supply (now depleted?) in the past, who was selling them through the forum here... Anyone know of a current distributor?

Also - Joakim - you link to a jpg, where is the ordering info? Are we supposed to email you for details?

I have Olli S. in Finland keeping track of this for me and I'm in the Finish "Group Purchase" group. Unfortunately, the Swedes are still screwing around. They have some sort of production problems, I suspect from not using a vacuum/pressure chamber on the mold making and casting. A chamber big enough for this is a fairly expensive piece of equipment.

I did talk to a local plastics manufacturer that does work as high end as medical devices and the conclusion is we could get a "small" run done. The only problem is "small" would really have to be ~ 70 (or more) pieces to amortize the mold costs. I don't think there are 70 new 951/S2 owners that want to spend over $100 for a pair of clear lenses.

Tony, no one has made a list as far as I know. I suppose we could start one but I never got the feeling that there were anywhere near enough guys to do this.

Maybe if a post is made over on Pelican we might scrounge up enough? Battery cable projects and headlight kits can get 70 buyers in the blink of an eye. I don't think clear blinkers will do it, though.
