Default WTB -- center exhaust hanger -- anyone have one hanging around from a parts car?

As I was replacing my rear axles/CV joints last weekend, I glanced down the exhaust system from the rear and noticed to my great surprise that the center exhaust hanger in my 951 is completely missing! Yikes!

I think that my wrench must have left it off last year when he had the exhaust out. Interestingly, it hasn't seemed to cause any issues and the exhaust feels pretty solid in there even without it. Anyway, this is part #9 in the photo below. It is the U shaped hanger that hangs from the rubber piece.

It's the same part as the hangers in front of and behind the cat in a 944 N/A and an S2. Anyone have one left over from a parts car?? Please PM. I'd like to get this in before I take the car on a trip to Mid-Ohio in 2 weeks. Thanks!

- Neal

I am pretty sure I do from the old 83 parts car... I'm headed out to the garage in 5 for rear brakes and oil change.

Will post from there.

Indeed I do have it. I think all the grease and mud protected it pretty well... just cleaned it up and it is in pretty good condition. Just to be sure I test fit it on my now removed original 87 NA exhaust and the holes line up perfect.

Two questions for you:

1) Do you need the rubber donut?
2) $15 shipped? I hate to charge you that much even but USPS raised priority mail rates recently so shipping will likely be 7-10 bucks. But you will have it by your track day guaranteed.

schwank,

Do you happen to have an old/dead motor mount from the parts car you want to get rid of?

Thanks
Tom

I wouldn't be surprised if I do

I'll have to poke around in my boxes of interesting and wonderful removed oem stuff (aka old junk) but I probably do. I will PM you later today when I get a chance to look around.
