I'm not sure if they have Mini S pedals yet. If you go to the website you can see what they are or are going to have. If the Mini's aren't there, you could send them an email inquiring about them. You could also ask them if you could be part of the group deal we are working on here on the Rennlist forum for Porsche pedals, worth a shot.

Thumbs down

Am I missing something here? I look on their web site and see the Supra and RSX (4pc) pedal sets selling for less than $80 shipped. What makes the ones for our car $40 more on a special price group buy? Sounds like a good deal to me

tazman, I don't think your missing anything. I'm so sick of seeing these companies jack up the prices because of the so-called Porsche brand.

Holy cow here I am thinking that the normal price is $65-69, according to the website, and that our group by would possibly bring it down to $50 or so... I don't think there's any way they are going to sell those at a price higher then Slevy's strut brace! Maybe on a RSX board, but not this one.

Too bad. For $50 they would sell like hotcakes on this board, especially with "944" where the RSX is.

I sort of hate to torpedo someone else's thread about a product, but I just bought some really nice pedals off ebay for $70. It was a "Dutch Auction" and I think only 3 or 4 of the 7 that were offered were sold. I havne't received them yet, but I'll post something when I get them. They look to be really nice and a great deal. It's a 4 piece set that includes the dead pedal.

I was going to make my own, but these were cheap enough that it truly wasn't worth my time.

Geo, who makes the pedals you bought off of eBay?

I also recently purchased some off eBay. They are made by Rennline. It sounds like you got a better deal than me, though!

Mine are not by Rennline. The Rennline are just a bit nicer than the ones I got, but not by much. The Rennline have a raise portion around each hole and mine don't.

BTW, the other 3 are currently up on eBay on a Dutch Auction for a starting price of $85 a set now.

I thought that the Rennline pedals looked very impressive online, but admittedly have not yet seen them in person. I will post some detailed photos of my pedal set when it arrives next week. Look for a separate "Rennline pedals" thread.

This sounds like the kind of supplier we should boycott, not do a group buy. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

In all fairness, we don't know this for sure. Let's give his friends a chance to at least respond.

What many people fail to understand about the Porsche 944 owner in general, is that we ARE NOT RICH.

There is a chance to get the pedals down to $59/set if we can get a large enough group together to buy them. The reason the Porsche pedals are so high is because they did not expect very many people to be interested in them. If we show them there is enough interest, the price of course will go down. Also, rumor has it, that Autometrics will be using these pedals on their Speed Channel Cup and PCA cars. They will also say 944 on them.
