Post 2.82 Liter motor for sale

Listers,

I'm pulling my 2.82 liter block out of my 87 951 this week to make room for a NA big bore high compression motor. We are converting my 87 to a full time track car and will be shooting for R7 Orange Group in POC. SO, we dicided a hefty NA high compression built block would fit our needs at this point.

I'm selling the 2.82 for 7900.00 US and it includes:

2.82 liter bored block with Rolls Royce Chrom. Sleeves.
P&P head with orings. High compression (about 8.6-1)
Block is reciever grooved.
Balance shaft delete.
Adjustable Cam gear.
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator.
3" SS SFR Cat Back with Muffler.
3" SFR SS Turbo Down Pipe.
LightWeight JE pistons.
Pauter Chrom. Rods, gun drilled for oil squirting.
Machined crank, lightened, knife edged and cross drilled.
Lightened Flywheel.
TECHII Engine Management system, complete with harness and pre tuned to 20PSI boost on 92 octane.
Greddy BlowOff Valve.
96Lb Injectors.

I will rebuild the bottom end with fresh bearings when I pull the motor from the car, and install new lower end gaskets. The motor will be fully cleaned to look like new.

Compression reads 168PSI accross the board! Holds 20PSI at vacuum and has absolutely NO blowbay on the cylinders, the crank vent hose is actuall dry and almost dusty inside :-)

This motor with the Stage three MAF kit and 52LB injectors made 415HP and 515-520Tq at around 3600rpm running 18-19PSI.

Its a solid motor, no mechanicle issues whatsoever and has been my daily driver and a joy to have under the hood. I'll miss it, but we are very excited about the race car project and are moving very fast on this.

If your interested call the shop and we can discuss more details.

Take Care!

John,

You will probably have much better luck posting this on the turbo side. Sounds like a deal BTW.
