Gasm,
He is going to put them on, and then when he is taking a left turn stick his head out the window to see what they look like.
Or he will have passenger do the same during right turns.
Picture that on a nice rural tree lined road!

I have seen a couple of sets of these centercaps. they are extremely well made. The crests are slightly larger than the standard center cap crests however. The other downside is that they are a bit pricey as well.

These are Ralph's (Boothe) caps. He's always at every Porsche event/ swap meet here in southern California. He's an **** machinist and basic old codger. You can talk to him for 2 hours on trivial design issues with this and that on a 911. The perfect gucci-weenie accessory for the LA crowd. "What, you dont have self-centering hub centers! Why are you slummin' it?"

Don't be so hard on Ralph Boothe. Heck even the factory used his spacers on the 993 c2s. He is one heck of a machinist and when I met him at the Pamona swap meet he realy knew his stuff. The quality of his craftmanship is next to none. I really enjoyed talking to him and his wife at the swap meet.
