Default Help with a few things please

Ok, i have a few things i just can't figure out.

1. Ground points. I know there are 2 on the bell housing/back of the block. are they the 90 degree bracket on one of the bell housing bolts and the smaller sized hole close to the torque tube?

2. wiring on the starter. From what i remember the positive battery wire goes to it (negative to grounding point) and then there is another wire that comes from over the top of the engine with a smaller blue wire as part of it. am i missing any and what connections do they attach to on the following picture.

3. I have found where every connector on the DME harness attaches except the one in the following picture. ideas?

4. These are the ends of the second wire that runs to the starter, and i completely forget where they went.

5. Last, these two are at the first split of the DME harness. I have one labeled as going to the block, and i have a picture that shows it attaching to the top of the bell housing, but i can't see the other one in the picture to see where it goes.

Thanks guys.

Before you attach anything, I suggest you get the rust off those connectors.

i'm in the middle of that now. Don't worry, i've been cleaning everything before wiring it back up.

First off lemme tell you that I only really have experience on Turbo's so if any of this isn't pertinent, then I apologize.

On the starter, the larger wire hooks up to the point on the bottom of the solenoid where the nut is at the the top (on my car, two large wires were attached here). The smaller wire attaches to the small post right next to it.

The connector looks like an injector connector. I'm at a loss on this one.

The grounds that you have attach to the bell housing I believe:

thanks, that picture helps. I couldn't tell if they connected to the same place or different ones.

I really have no idea on that connector. I've looked at every piece that goes in that area and can't find a place for it that isn't claimed by another connector.

Pic 3 looks like the throttle position switch, underneath the throttle body.

My '84 looks the same. There's also a large braided cable connected to the one in the upper right, going to the firewall.

its not the throttle position sensor. That connector has 3 pins, this connector has 2. Also i have the TPS labeled. Somehow the label on this one fell off.

Oh sorry, how about the water temperature sensor screwed into the block a few inches away from the throttle position switch? That's 2 pins.

i don't think its that one either, if I'm thinking of the same thing. That one i also had labeled, and both the DME connector and the receiver on the block were blue plastic, not black.

I did solve number 4, those go to the back of the alternator. and Number 5 is all set, both of those are attached in their respective places.

i'm just at an absolute loss for that connector.

You could take an ohmeter and probe between the connector and the DME connector, to see where and if it connects to the DME. Then lookup the DME pin number in the wiring diagram to see what it connects to.
