Post Fire Sale......

Ok, well we all know what happend to my car, and if not just look at this post <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=15&t=006133" target="_blank">about my destroyed car.</a>

Anyway I went over today to take a look at it and well despite warnings I consdering parting out the remaining parts. My question is would anybody be interested in the following.

Leda suspension: 3 of the struts and springs are still good, one would need to be rebuilt or replaced, Karl at racers edge said he would sell just one if it couldn't be fixed.

3 Wheels and tires: 993 Cups w/ Kuhmo tires (still good).

M030 Sway bars: Front might be toast, but back is good.

M030 Brake Calipers: I contacted a couple people and they told me the calipers can be rebuilt. (also has the adaptors to run them on the no S 951). The rear calipers are also available.

Spare Tire / Compressor / Jack

Red Tail lamps (we had the big thread on these)

Transmission / Engine Block / or anything else you can think of......

Just trying to save help myself out of a bad situation. And before anyone says this should be in the classifieds section, I just wanted to say this is more to feel things out than it is to sell anything.

Here are a couple pics of the wheels.

They are 17x9 in back
17 x 7 for the one left in the front.

I however am still battling with getting my car streight. My supossed rebuilt tranny is about to puke and I payed 800 plus a couple hundred for them to put it on. Bottum line is i need a tranny and am wondering if you would consider helping me out with a resonable price. Oh and let me know how well it ran while under your controll. I really don't want to buy a lemon tranny again. thanks Ian

Well as far as I know the tranny is fine, I never had any problems with it, it engages smooth and I don't know what else to tell you.

I don't mind giving anyone on deal on these parts, if you are the only one that wants it I would be happy to give it to you at a resonable price.

Hi:

If the tranny doesn't sell, I'd be interested. Lost 2 so far, looking for a third. It appears they last about 130,000. That's when I lost my first one. I'm now at 260K and the second one is fried. Any help by anyone would be appreciated.

Hi Ian. Sorry to hear about your tragedy.
Is the passenger side rear view glass mirror salvageable? If so I would be interested.
Thanks
John
