Ive spent a fair amount of time in both and Im not a fan of the 951 for a daily. The complete lack of low end grunt is pretty crappy. Id go the 3litre for a daily. Plenty of power to get you in as much trouble as with the turbo, with way more usable grunt low down where you need ot for a daily. And the lack of plumbing. Did I mention the lack of plumbing? Oh yeah and way less plumbing! The other reason im not a fan of the 951, which of course ive been driving the last few weeks haha.

Not going to get into debate, only want to say that replacing the cam chain tensioner pad is easy, and the part is inexpensive. The valve cover gasket costs more that the tensioner. I think finding a good s2 coupe for $8000. will be a challenge.

8k back then could buy a decent 951. The 951 is currently outpreforming the Dow Jones.
