Post Traffic court......verdict

I just returned from the Magistrate hearing of my speeding citation. In Sept., I was clocked doing 87 in a 55. In PA, anything 31 MPH or above is an automatic 15 day suspension and/or a re-take of the road portion of the driver's test and 5 points. The hearing took a total of 90 seconds. The trooper presented his case, showed the radar calibration documents, and rested--my turn, I simply said, that I didn't think I was going that fast, that it was more around 85. Officer agreed--case closed. $180 and 5 points later and I am free, no suspension, no test re-take. I could do without the 5 points, but as long as ins. doesn't find out--I am OK.
On a seperate note, the rear leaf spring bracket on the Wagoneer broke loose on Sunday, and poked a hole in my rear floorpan. Oh, well I guess it is time for new rear mounts and to update the sig.
