Good Day,

Can someone with a late 944 or 968, with rear 3-point seat belts (lap/shoulder) please post a picture of how and where the retractor component mounts to the body? I'm trying to retrofit a set into my '86 944 that only came with lap belts. It looks like there might be an additional bracket welded in to mount this piece that is missing on the older cars.

Yes, there was a modification to the body, I think in '88, where they added the 3 point belt supports, and changed the rear cargo area side carpeting design.

I think you are out of luck on an '86...

I suppose this does not apply to the cab since my 91 does not have it?

Keith - thanks for the pic. Nothing a little fabrication and welding won't fix! I just needed to see where Porsche mounted it.
