Post 'nuthah brake ???

Hey guys... I'll shortly be changing my early model over to '86 951 spindles and trailing arms and probably, at least for the short team, using the 951 calipers, rebuilt and powder coated, with new drilled rotors. I know I'll have to upgrade to the matching master cylinder, but what about the brake lines themselves? Do the 951's have a larger dia brake line, and is is nessessary to change them also? Thanks for any help.

Most of the hard brake lines that run throughout the chassis are the same - can't see any reason to change... I would assume some are different simply to fit different running gear (turbo, etc). The front softlines are different (951.355.079.00), so you can replace those or upgrade to SS.

The brake master cylinder is the same from 83-86 including Turbo. No need to change that.

Good Luck!

Thank Skip for the info on the Master Cylinder. I'd assumed that since the calipers moved more volumn, I'd need a larger pusher.
